La 7e conférence de recherche annuelle de la SRPSN aura lieu à Halifax (N.-É) du 23 - 26 mai 2010. La date limite pour la soumission des résumés est le 3 avril 2010. 2) Date limite pour présentation de résumé – 7e Congrès international annuel sur la recherche sur la médicine complémentaire (ICCMR), 19 – 21 mai 2010, Tromsø, NorvègeLe congrès ICCMR 2010 aura lieu à Tromsø, Norvège du 19 – 21 mai, 2010. Le Comité d’acceuil local est NAFKAM (National Research Center in Complementary and Alternative Medicine) en conjunction avec ISCMR. Le thème de ICCMR 2010 est sur les domaines de recherche pertinents pour les malades chroniques.

3) Rappel – Date limite pour soumission de résumés pour les Fonds de recherche canadien sur les MAC
La date limite pour les demandes du partenariat entre l’IN-CAM et la fondation Holistic Health Research Foundation est le 15 décembre 2009. Ce concours sera financé par le Fonds de recherche Canadien sur les MAC. L’annonce des titulaires de subvention sera faite au mois de mars 2010.

Le réseau canadien de recherche sur l’homéopathie (HomeoNet) et la fondation Holistic Health Research Foundation of Canada présentent un groupe de discussion au sujet de la publication d’une étude d’il y a 21 années sur l’homéopathie par Jacques Benveniste dans le journal “Nature”. L’étude, sa publication et l'agitation qui l’ont suivi seront discutés dans un milieu académique. 3) Reminder - The Canadian CAM Research Fund Grant Submission DeadlineThe deadline to submit applications to the joint IN-CAM and the Holistic Health Research Foundation of Canada research grant competition, which will be funded through the Canadian CAM Research Fund, is December 15, 2009.
Announcements of grant recipients will be made in March 2010. 4) Reminder - Panel Symposium Announcement: The Benveniste Affair The Homeopathic Research Network of Canada (HomeoNet) and the Holistic Health Research Foundation of Canada present a panel symposium discussing the publication 21 years ago of a study on homeopathy by Jacques Benveniste in the journal Nature.
The study, its publication and the implications of the turmoil that followed will be discussed in an academic setting. This panel is a free event to be held on Wednesday, November 11th, 2009 at 7:00 pm at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto, 144 College St., Toronto, ON.
